The southern side of
Building 202, aka the Broadside Mount Shop, aka the Navy Gun Asssembly Building, originally built in 1941. After the Navy moved out, various federal agencies occupied the building, including the Federal Protective Services, until Forest City took over the building as part of the Yards footprint in 2006. For a time PN Hoffman had been attached to a planned renovation to turn it into condos, but now the
building is on the market as Forest City looks to see if there are any other developers with designs on the building that could fit in with the general Yards direction and feel.
