Inside the New Capper Community Center / Photo Gallery
August 11, 2016
The new Capper Community Center is now open, though the DC Housing Authority is still looking for an operator or operators to run the building's programming and daycare center. In the meantime, a small summer camp has been running for neighborhood kids.
First, a look at the previous Capper Community Center, seen here from the intersection of 5th and K SE in January 2006, about 14 months before its March 2007 demolition. (link)
